North Bay Battalion defenseman Cam Dineen has signed an NHL contract.

He has inked a 3 year deal with the team that drafted him last summer: the Arizona Coyotes.

Dineen played just 29 games last season and had six goals and 14 points.

He was a lot healthier the year before and Dineen made the league all rookie team with 59 points in 68 games.

Infact, he was 2nd in the entire league in points by a defenseman.

He was also 2nd in ballotting for rookie of the year.
