A few reports are coming forward at tonight’s City Council meeting including the recommendations from the Downtown Waterfront Advisory Committee.

They include staff looking at options for the King’s Landing Marina area, meeting with stakeholders and reporting back on splash pad possibilities and meeting with railway companies to find out their future plans in the waterfront area.

Other reports involve the $3.8-million asphalt resurfacing program, a 17 residential lot development on Tower Drive and new playground equipment at the Birchaven Playground on Sage Road.

There’s two items up for discussion in tonight’s committee meeting.

One involves the Spring Midway while the other is the 2017 Assessment Analysis & Tax Policy Review.
