It’s a dark comedy that tells the story of matchmaking gone wrong.

The Gateway Theatre Guild production of Becky Shaw runs Wednesday through Saturday at Odyssée.

Director Blake Cerisano says it’s hilarious, but also pulls at the heart strings.

“That’s what I fell in love with when I first decided I wanted to direct it, is that it just has everything from laughs to little bits of anger, to tears. It has everything in it,” he says.

Cerisano also says they have some new talent involved with the show.

“We have a cast full of people who have never been in Gateway before or haven’t been in nearly 20 years, it’s all fresh faces this time,” he says.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students.
