Canadore is Partnering with a Caribbean College

Canadore College officials went to TA Maryshow Community College in Grenada to work on educational opportunities with a focus on environmental sustainability.

The Canadore contingent included controller Kim Watkins and vice president of student services Shawn Chorney.

Watkins says the government of Grenada is looking to develop a greener economy including post-secondary programs and that’s where Canadore comes in.

Canadore will be working with the college in Grenada to raise funds to help them rebuild their training campus which was destroyed by a hurricane in 2004.
