North Bay PoliceA public argument that turned violent between a man and his girlfriend has led to assault and drug charges for a 29 year old man.

It’s alleged a woman was pushed and hit at a downtown business around 10 pm last night (Monday).

Police say the business owner intervened and was pushed by the man who left the scene on foot.

He was located and arrested by police who also seized 150 Oxycontin pills, a small amount of marijuana and $1,820 dollars in cash.

 

Meantime, a correction from police as they continue to look to speak with the driver of a vehicle involved in a collision with a pedestrian last week.

The vehicle is now described as a shiny silver/grey truck.

The incident happened just after 9 am last Thursday at Worthington and Fisher.

The driver is described as 60 to 70 years old, with white short hair and white facial hair.

He was wearing a black leather coat at the time.
