Charges filed after investigation into counterfeit Fentanyl patches

City police have charged a 59 year old woman after a complaint from a local pharmacy about suspected counterfeit Fentanyl patches.

It’s alleged counterfeit patches were returned under the Patch4Patch program 10 times between August 2015 and February 2016.

Police say the woman is also accused of trafficking Fentanyl patches, with an estimated street value of $33, 750.

She faces ten counts of fraud under $5,000 and ten counts of drug trafficking.
