Not a lot of positives for the home side in a 5-2 loss at Memorial Gardens for the North Bay Battalion.

They played host to the Soo Greyhounds who scored five straight goals after being down 2-0 in the first six minutes of the game.

Amadio’s goal to open the scoring his his 195th career point, which is 6th all-time on the franchise list. Battalion Head Coach Stan Butler says it’s a nice stat for the LA Kings draft pick.

One of the other positives was Soo native Jake Kment stopping all 13 shots he faced.

Kment was subbed in to play goal for Jake Smith who was pulled in the second after allowing five goals on 11 shots

The 5-2 win for the Soo Greyhounds ends the Battalion point streak at seven games.

They went 5-0-0-2 in that stretch

Daniil Vertiy scored the other goal for North Bay
