The Battalion Are In The Lead!

The North Bay Battalion are up 3 games to 2 in game five of  their playoff series against the Peterborough Petes.

Captain Mike Amadio got the winner in overtime for the 2-1 win while Jake Smith made 34 saves in net.

Smith says he’s relying on his experience over the last two years to get the Troops the wins they need.

Head Coach Stan Butler says they wanted to keep it simple and just get the puck on net.

Brett McKenzie opened the scoring for the Troops who will head to Peterborough for Game Six tomorrow.
