Troops blank the Petes to even their playoff series at 2

The North Bay Battalion split their two games in Peterborough and come back to North Bay with the series tied at 2.

This after a 2-0 win last night (Thursday).

Peterborough native Jacob Ball (photo by Terry Wilson/OHL Images) scored the eventual winning goal, his first of the playoffs.

Riley Bruce also found the back of the net, adding some insurance in the third period.

Jake Smith earned the shutout, stopping all 29 shots he faced.
