North Bay PoliceThe North Bay Police Street Crime Unit conducted a traffic stop Wednesday  and as a result two people are facing charges.

39 year old Jason Michael Frew of North Bay has been charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of property obtained by crime. 

As well, a 39 year old male from East Ferris has been charged with driving while under suspension and breach of recognizance. Police say during the traffic stop at Ferguson Street the driver was arrested and the passenger attempted to run away.

Police say he was stopped at a restaurant on Main Street.

Police say a search uncovered Methamphetamine poills, Statex Morphine Pills, Codeine Contin, Marijuana and Canadian currency. Police say the total value of the drugs seized is 12 hundred dollars.
