Robotics PhotoThis weekend’s regional robotics competition at Nipissing University has received some financial assistance from FEDNOR.

The government has announced FEDNOR is investing 45 Thousand Dollars to help put on the event.

In a release, it says the money will help inspire young canadians to consider careers in Engineering, Science, Technology and Innovation.

MP Anthony Rota says the event will help boost local tourism. 

Nipissing University President Dr Mike Degagne says this is the 3rd year in a row the university has been involved in a major robotics event and FEDNOR’s  support has been instrumental in the success of the initiative.
