Union Gas says rates are going down next week. 

Effective April 1st the annual drop is about 37-dollars. 

That’s on top of the nearly 50-dollar annual decrease that started in January. 

Officials say while there are seasonal market fluctuations, the average natural gas bill for a residential Union Gas customer is about $210 less today than five years ago.

As well, Union Gas has come through for the regional robotics competition going on at Nipissing University.

This is year 4 of the company’s 50 Thousand Dollar committment to FIRST Robotics Canada. 

Union Gas is supporting 10 of the Ontario teams including the two from North Bay at this weekend’s event and three competitions.
