Snow depth down in the area

The rain and warm temperatures over the last couple of weeks has reduced the snow depth substantially.

The North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority says we’re right on average in terms of depth after being above the norm just 2 weeks ago at two of the 3 area reading stations.  The depth is two per cent below normal in Chisholm and Corbeil but still above average by about 10 per cent in North Bay.

The depth ranges from 41 Centimeters in Chisholm 45 in North Bay.
