The NNDSB Looking For Suggestions For New School's Name

The new Pinewood Public School site needs a name when it opens this coming September.

Individuals or groups are invited to help name the school in accordance with a few guidelines.

Those guidelines include; the name of street on which the school is located, a feature of the district which the school serves, an historical name that once applied to the area.

Submissions should include reasoning for the name, and background or history of the suggested name.

They should be sent to the school boards naming committee by Tuesday, March 29th.
