Captain Mike Amadio is one step closer to making history for the North Bay Battalion.

Unfortunately, the Troops dropped the game 4-3 to the Petes in Peterborough last night (Thursday).

Zach Poirier and Zach Shankar scored the other goals for North Bay while Jake Smith made 35 saves in the loss.

The Battalion are back in action tonight when they visit Oshawa.
