BaylorCity Council will have a clear direction from Baylor University in April.

That’s when the second Phase of the Baylor partnership is expected to be completed.

Baylor alumnus and Project Lead Kevin Hutchison says the students will utilize the data from the community survey in Phase one and get input from members of the Invest North Bay Development Corporation.

He says the end result will be a very focused and compact report.

Over 4,500 residents took part in Phase one last year; and Phase Two has officially begun, says Hutchison.

He says most of the work will be done at Baylor in Texas.

Hutchison says that could mean a mini town hall in the near future, but he adds the research team has what they need to continue the project.

He says the end result will be a compact power point document with fewer than 500 words that will inspire the city to move forward.
