Another loss for the North Bay Battalion, this time an 8-2 decision to league-leading Sarnia Thursday night at Memorial Gardens.

Despite firing 40 shots on goal, head coach Stan Butler says the Troops struggled to keep up.

“It was a game where in order for us to have a chance to win we have to have everybody play really well and some of our guys really struggled with the speed of the game,” he says.

Justin Brazeau (pictured) scored both North Bay goals.

The Battalion, who have lost 7 straight, are on the road to take on the Mississauga Steelheads tonight (Friday)

Butler says they have to put last night’s game behind them.

“We can’t allow it to get to us, we have to have a short memory, we have to turn this thing around.  We’re going in the wrong direction, we just have to grab hold of our ship and turn it around,” he says.

Broadcast time tonight on Country 600 CKAT is 6:55 pm.
