The Powassan Voodoos have acquired former North Bay AAA Trappers defenceman Dylan Bond from the Elmira Sugar Kings of the GOJHL.

The Saginaw Spirit draft pick has one assist in three games this season.

Bond was a key defender for the Trappers last season as they won OHF Bronze.

He scored 13 goals and 17 assists in 31 games.

“Bond is yet another solid young junior hockey player from North Bay and comes from a great Trappers team from last year,” said Chris Dawson, Voodoos general manager and VP of hockey operations.  “Coach Beau is familiar with him, and we really liked what we saw in Dylan’s game last season with the Trappers.”

Powassan is on the road taking on Rayside Balfour tomorrow night (Thursday).
