Vested Interest is coming back to Downtown North Bay.

Jennifer McNutt Bywater says they’ve purchased the former Nutty Chocolatier building on the 100 block of Main East and are expanding their business.

After fire destroyed their previous location on McIntyre Street East in 2012, Vested Interest returned to their roots in Callander.

That location is staying open too.

McNutt Bywater says they wanted to return downtown, pointing out there are so many creative entrepreneurs and unique businesses.

“We have great confidence in North Bay and we have great confidence in the downtown. We feel this area is only going to get bigger and better all the time, and we want to be a part of it,” she says.

The plan is to be open for the Downtown Christmas Walk on November 24th.

“It’s a very, very tight timeline so we’re working 600 miles an hour, but that’s our goal,” she says. “We want to show North Bay and Downtown that we’re here, we’re back.”

Also announced, North Bay Escape Rooms is moving upstairs at Vested Interest.

They also plan to be open for the Downtown Christmas Walk.
