filming movingAn animated short film produced by many including a Canadore College professor will be viewed at an international film festival.

The Grandfather Drum is one of 7 short Canadian films that will be seen at the Sundance Film Festival held in Utah. 

It goes from January 21st-31st. 

The film is an animated story which sees one of the Anishnabek First Nation elders build a healing drum to save his grandson and his people.

The professor is Dave Clement who served as the film’s story editor, post production supervisor and  associate producer.

There were 8700 short film submissions to get shown at the festival.
