Police (North Bay)North Bay Police have 13 unsolved missing cases and one unsolved homicide case.

Corporate Communications Coordinator Marie Lugli says they’ve received several inquiries in recent weeks in light of the interest in unsolved cases of indigenous people and while North Bay does not have any of those, they do have other unsolved cases.

They will be highlighting them throughout the year.

The initiative starts today (Tuesday) with a summary of who the victims were.

Lugli says this is to give people an overview of the cases and they be will highlighting individual cases on the anniversary dates of when people went missing.

She says all the cases will be highlighted on their web site.

Lugli says the cases go from 50 years ago to almost 5 years ago with the missing person, Luc Joly-Durocher case.

She says the lone homicide is the Guy Parise case who was murdered in May 1986.
