A unique fundraiser for the Loan Equipment Program at One Kids Place is taking place today (Friday).

A Christmas Italian Lunch buffet goes from 11:30 am to 2 pm at the Davedi Club.

Tickets are $20.

 

OPP in Mattawa and Powassan are holding “stuff a cruiser” events in support of food banks in those communities.

The Powassan event goes tonight from 6 pm to 8 pm at 250 Clark Street.

Mattawa OPP are holding their event tomorrow from 10 am to noon on Main Street.

 

The North Bay Food Bank’s Cookie Walk goes tomorrow.

The fundraiser takes place from 9 am to noon at Burrows’ Country Store and Garden Centre on Third Avenue.

Officials say it’s a great chance to support the food bank and take home some Christmas baking without spending any time in the kitchen.

 

And it’s called Art Jam and over 60 local and regional artists are gathering for the event tomorrow night at the former Tweedsmuir Public School.

There’s live entertainment, a visual art expo and more.

The event starts at 6 pm and is being held to support and promote live music, performance art and visual artists in Nipissing.

Tickets are $20.
