City police reporting 207 calls for service on the weekend with 10 people charged.

Offences include domestic assault, assault with a weapon, theft under $5000, impaired driving, mischief and public intoxication.

In one of the incidents, North Bay Police have charged a 21 year old man with domestic assault, breach and resist arrest.

This after a complaint to police on the weekend about a couple incidents this month.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

 

Meantime, an incident Saturday night has led to assault and assault with a weapon charges for two city men, ages 23 and 25.

It’s alleged an altercation involving the two men and a male victim turned violent when the man was allegedly struck with a baseball bat.

He was injured and taken to hospital.

 

City police also report a 30 year old North Bay man has been charged after an ongoing investigation into a complaint to police in January.

It’s alleged back in January a man was rummaging through another man’s vehicle and threatened him with a knife when confronted.

He’s charged with assault with a weapon, theft under $5,000 from a motor vehicle and breach.
