A tentative agreement has been reached between four of the province’s Local Health Integration Networks, including the Northeast LHIN and its employees.

The deal is for three years and results in a 1.75 % wage increase per year.

Ratification votes are scheduled to take place next month.

Earlier this month, we told you that negotiations were scheduled to resume last Friday after employees 94 per cent in favour of a strike mandate.

OPSEU spokesperson Julie Lenko says the talks did take place and the two sides came to a tentative agreement.
