Emerging from the deep freeze

We’re expected to emerge from the deep freeze today (Tuesday).

While this morning is still bitterly cold, the forecasted high today is minus 4.

That’s expected this afternoon.The temperature is expected to hover at or just below freezing over the next several days with another drop early next week.

Meantime, this morning’s frigid minus 24 wasn’t anywhere near the record, which was minus 33.9 back in 1959.
