lhin logoAfter spending last year consulting with the public on the future of health care in the northeast, the LHIN will be releasing a plan for the next 4 years next month.

The Director of Communications and Community Engagement for the LHIN Cynthia Stables says the plan covers three areas including improve access and wait times, enhanced care coordination to get medical providers to talk more to each other and to strengthen system sustainability.

That means the investments of today are benefiting people today but also people in the future.

She says all their work is done on the plan and they are now waiting on the ministry for final comments.

Stables says 3000 northerners have commented on the plan.
