Several podium finishes for 38 local youth bowlers at the second step of the YBC National Championship at various regional bowling centres on the weekend.

Bowlers from Partners Bowling in North Bay captured three team golds, three team silver medals and five team bronze.

They range in age from five to 19.

Gold medal winning teams include:

– Senior Girls Team: Kyrsten Tremblay, Emma Starcevic and Coach Natasha Smith
– Senior Boys Team: Christopher MacLean, Noah Starcevic and Coach Phil “Flipper” Smith
– Combo Boys Team: Hunter Doxsee, Brennan Doyle, Austin Mantha and Coach Sharon McKenny

Silver medal winning teams include:
– Bantam Boys Team: Elijah Robillard, Gavin Dewar and Coach Ginette MacLean
– Senior Girls Team: Willow Arbour, Katelyn MacIntosh and Coach Shirley Arbour
– Senior Boys Team: Thomas Williams, Nicholas MacLean and Coach Tom Williams

Bronze medal winning teams include:
– Bantam Girls Team: Anna Sands, Savannah-Rose Dubois and Coach Ellen Hurtubise
– Bantam Boys Team: Domenic Colbert, Liam Bull and Coach Ginette MacLean
– Junior Girls Team: Shelby Gaudreau, Alexa Mitchell and Coach Cheryl Zilinski
– Senior Boys Team: Jake McKenny, Jake Boutilier and Coach Barry Tremblay
– Combo Girls Team: Mariah Allen, Alexis Levasseur, Maliya Wilson and Coach Remi Levasseur

The gold and silver medal winners will be moving on to the next round at the Northern Ontario Provincials in North Bay and Sturgeon Falls March 3rd and 4th.

They will be joined by previous singles gold medal winners Sadie Tremblay (Bantam Girls) Ethan Ransom (Bantam Boys) and Liam Smith (Senior Boys) for an opportunity to qualify for the Nationals.
