A Widdifield Student Is Up For a Major National Honor

Her name is Sarah Sherry and she is a finalist for a Loren Scholar award.

The award identifies students who have strong leadership skills and character.

Sarah is a grade 12 student who excels inside and outside the classroom.

She is part of Widdifield’s Free The Children organization.

She moved onto the national finalist category after being successful at a regional interview in Sudbury.

She is now one of 80 candidates out of an original 40 Thousand applicants and will head to Toronto to interview for the national honor.
