The North Bay Battalion are home to the Sudbury Wolves tonight.

The Troops have made going into overtime a habit lately, with their win Sunday over Mississauga and their loss Monday in Oshawa.

Coach Stan Butler says the team has to improve down the stretch in its final eleven games.

“That’s really, really important that we can do that because you have to improve this time of year. We have a ways to go to be ready for the playoffs and show that we’re a tough playoff opponent,” he says.

Butler says even though Sudbury is last in the Eastern Conference they can’t underestimate the Wolves.

“Where we found ways to win those close games they’ve found ways to lose those games. That’s a swing that you run into sometimes. Cory Stillman has them playing really hard and as long as they get decent goaltending they’re a really hard team to beat,” he says.

The last game between the teams was won by Sudbury.

North Bay has won the other four, including two at Memorial Gardens.

After tonight’s game seven of the Troops’ final 10 games will be on the road.

The Battalion are curretly tied for fourth in the Eastern Conference with Niagara.

Broadcast time tonight on Country 600 CKAT is 6:55 pm.
