The recent thaw has brought on the annual pothole patrol in the city of North Bay.

City officials took to social media yesterday (Wednesday) to report that crews were dealing with plenty of drainage issues and to reminder drivers to watch out for potholes.

That brought on plenty of feedback on social media with a portion of Marshall Avenue described as a ‘war zone’.

Councillor Tanya Vrebosch pointed out crews were going to fill the potholes and the roadway has been marked for reconstruction.

She says people can contact public works at (705) 474-4340, if potholes re-appear.
