The North Bay Battalion wrap up the home portion of the regular season tonight against Sudbury.

The Troops have already clinched a playoff spot and coach Stan Butler says may be playing a neutral site post season game in Sudbury.

“We can not play a game here until game 4 of the first round on Thursday March 29th. If we do not have home ice we will play one neutral site game. We are in discussions right now with Sudbury,” he says.

With Memorial Gardens getting ready for the Ford World Women’s Curling Championship the Battalion will be practicing soon at the Pete Palangio Arena.

Butler says Adam McMaster is expected back in the lineup for the Battalion tonight but Kyle Potts is out with pneumonia.

This is the final regular season home game for captain Riley Bruce (pictured), a five year player, who is the only one that has been with the team the entire time the Troops have been in North Bay.

Meantime, Butler’s recently reached his 700th OHL win.

“I would like to thank all the players that have played for me because without good players you would never get those opportunities. The players are the guys that do the hard work necessary for coaches to have some form of success,” he says.

Catch tonight’s game on Country 600 CKAT, the broadcast begins at 6:55 pm.
