272 students graduate from the D.A.R.E. program this fall

North Bay Police are congratulating the 272 students who graduated from the Drug Abuse Resistance Program (D.A.R.E.) this fall.

D.A.R.E. Officer Constable Merv Shantz taught the grade five and six students from seven different schools from September to December.

The Schools include ET Carmichael, St Luke, Vincent Massey, Dr MacDougall, Silver Birches, Holy Cross and St Theresa.

Graduation ceremonies have been held over the past two weeks with special gifts handed out to select essay winners along with D.A.R.E. certificates and t-shirts to all graduates.
