'North Bay 32' forest fire grows in size

The North Bay 32 forest fire west of Latchford is now 59 hectares in size and is still not under control.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry also reminds the public who may be travelling in the area to proceed with caution and to drive slowly, as vehicles and crews are on scene and visibility may be reduced due to smoke.

Meantime, three new forest fires were reported yesterday in the North Bay district at 0.1, 0.2 and 0.5 hectares in size.

There’s another active fire too, that is one hectare in size.
