Six North Bay Titans had first place finishes at this past weekend’s Titans Invitational Swim Meet.

Swimmers from across the region took part in the three-day event at the North Bay YMCA Pool Friday, April 13th through Sunday, April 15th.

Nine-year-old Owen Baas won the boys 9 & 10 high point award, winning six of his events.

Robby Baas, Gabriel Cadieux, Cooper Jackson, Hailey Passmore and Julia Rivet also had first place finishes.

Titans coaches congratulate Indiana Coffin and Brody Marietti who completed the ‘Iron Man’ (1500m Free, 800m Free, 400m Free, 400m IM, 200m Fly) this past weekend.

Julie Jonescu also swam the 1500m Freestyle event, completing the full 60 lengths of the pool.

Marietti and 15 other Titans achieved top three finishes.

They include: Ashlyn Auger, Leah Dawson, Charlotte Dibben, Niganii Dokis, Joshua Gough, Jack Hachkowski, Annabelle Jackson, Lily Lyle, Evan Maeck, William Mitchell, Emma Ringuette, Ryan Spencer, Drew Stephenson, Jennifer Tripp and Ethan Yates.

Personal best times were also achieved by Brooklynn Bayliss, Ava Bertrand, Sophie Bertrand, Megan Bouffard, Sarah Cadieux, Aslan Cartmill-McCrea, Alexis Dibben, Mikaelle Dobbs, Aurora Doughty, Cyrus Hachkowski, Allen Huang, Dekota Jones, Izabelle Lizotte, Freya McLaren, Aleigha Money-Smith, Alivyah Money-Smith, Samantha Morris, Nikita Ouellette, Marlee Parker, Chloe Popp, Kailey Reed, Abigail Truong, Fionna Truong, Katelyn Warner and Emily Yates.

A special mention to Alexis Anderson, Mayssaa Belhadj and Lali Balhadj who competed in their first swim meet.

A group of Titans will be in the pool at Sudbury’s Laurentian University this weekend for the Sudbury Laurentian Swim Club Long Course Invitational.
