A 27 year old city man is facing several drug-related charges along with a prohibited weapons count.

North Bay Police say the Street Crime Unit observed two men outside at Fisher and Main Streets on Wednesday shortly before 5 pm, with one man suspected to be holding a prohibited weapon.

He fled the scene but was arrested after a short pursuit.

Police seized 100 methamphetamine pills, a small quantity of marijuana, cocaine and hydromorphone along with $400 in Canadian cash and a knife concealed in brass knuckles.

A traffic stop has led to several drug charges for a 33 year old city man.

North Bay Police stopped a vehicle on Algonquin around 3 pm Thursday with information the male driver’s licence was suspended.

A search resulted in about 25-hundred dollars in drugs being seized, including cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine along with $40 in Canadian cash and drug paraphernalia.

Police also seized the driver’s car as offence-related property.
