Couple city residents charged with impaired by OPP

North Bay OPP are reporting two city residents are facing impaired charges, one alcohol-related, the other drug-related.

Both incidents happened within the last week.

A 22 year old woman was charged with impaired by drug after a vehicle was stopped for a traffic infraction on December 5th around 12:30 am on Highway 654, Nipissing Township.

Meantime, a RIDE check at the junction of Highways 654 and 534 around 4:30 pm on December 9th led to charges for a 41 year old city man.

He’s facing impaired by alcohol charges along with driving with an expired plate and license.
