June is Brain Injury Awareness Month and officials will be set up at the North Bay Mall, from 10am to 6pm on Friday.

They’re unveiling their “Unmasking Brain Injury” display which looks to increase understanding of what it’s like to live with a brain injury.

Over 20 communities across the province are unveiling their displays today.

The circus is in town Saturday.

Super Circus Spectacular is a two-hour show with three shows lined up for Memorial Gardens.

There’s motorcyclists, trick riders on galloping horses, dogs and ponies, a giant Clydesdale, clowns, acrobats, jugglers and more.

Kids can ride a pony, snack on cotton candy and more.

(Brain Tumour Walk)

North Bay’s Brain Tumour Walk 2018 goes this weekend.

The 2.5 km or 5 km event is being held Sunday morning at the Discovery North Bay Museum.

Registration is at 830 with a survivor photo and opening ceremonies just before the walk begins at 10 am.

Funds raised go towards research, support programs, information, advocacy, awareness and hope.

(Walk for Alzheimer’s)

The Walk for Alzheimer’s is taking place on Sunday in North Bay.

The event goes from 11am to 2pm at the Alzheimer’s Society location on Devonshire.

Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias affect over 5,000 people in the community.

Funds raised remain local and help with programs and support services.
