Cerasia Fashions Inc

A mainstay on Main Street East in North Bay is closing it’s doors.

Cerasia Fashions will be closing in the next few months, after 45 years in business.

Tony Cerasia was trained in Rome and immigrated to Canada in 1969, marrying Deborah in the fall of 1970.

They opened a small tailor shop out of their home on Front Street in 1971 before moving to 415 Main East in 1973.

In a release, officials say at one time they manufactured their own line of bridesmaids and bridal gowns along with mother’s formal gowns with clientele coming from all over Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, the US, Italy, Germany and more.
